With us, your stay can as easily be about relaxation and the sea as it can exploration and discovery.  A varied and enticing coastline stretches all the way to Trieste; beaches with facilities and bars are a stones throw away down at the bay and, for those who like to explore hidden coves and rarely trodden sands, the beautiful Croatian coast to the South is an excellent way to combine adventure with relaxation.  
Lovers of sport will have plenty to choose from on a holiday between the mountains and the sea. Sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and scuba diving are available at the beach whilst trekking, mountain biking, potholing and climbing are on offer at the higher altitudes.
Nature still rules supreme here, providing visitors the chance for unique and memorable experiences. The Carso is abundant in caves and nature reserves, though a simple walk will be sure to offer up the sea views, jagged angles and lush woods which make our land one of the most beautiful and enchanting locations in the world.
The city of Trieste is both an opportunity for culture and a chance for liveliness and frivolity. Away from the city small towns, magnificently ornate castles and locations of special historical interest are scattered profusely throughout the region, each giving its own unique flavour to the past. For more contemporary fair, local events such as open air shows, concerts and theatre are there to tickle your fancy and keep you entertained.
Children and teenagers can enjoy themselves at the beach with the facilities available in the bay (Sistiana) and explore the winding paths of the local countryside on foot or by bicycle. Close to Malchina, the  adventure park, located in the woods, offers a course of action-packed, tree-to-tree challenges and at Grignano’s marina there’s the Imaginario Scientifico that unites play with scientific discovery. Down at Sistiana Bay there’s the sailing school, which offers initiation courses for beginners.
